Curing allows any remaining water in the soap to evaporate. The homemade soap should be allowed to air dry for 4 to 6 weeks. It's important to keep the soap in a dark, dry place where it won't come into contact with anything else as it dries. A shoebox in a dim wardrobe is the ideal hiding place 😀 If the handmade soaps contain fragrances, keep each fragranced soap in its own package to avoid perfume mixing.
Once the soap has been cured, you'll need to create batch logs. Batch logging is a requirement for the traceability purposes of an ingredient and a finished product. You can learn more about this here - How to Keep Track of Soap and Cosmetic Batches (with free download sheet!)
